David Almond in conversation at Waterstone's

True Tales, Imaginary Piranhas and Half-created Worlds

David Almond journeys through true tales, imaginary piranhas and half-created worlds. Almond is the author of many children’s novels including Skellig. He has won the Carnegie medal, the Michael Prinz award, the Smarties Book Prize and the Whitbread children’s Award. David will be in conversation with NTU lecturer David Belbin, discussing his past works and his first novel for adults The True Tale of the Monster Billy Dean, which was published in 2011.
